Brian A. Gravely serves as corporate counsel for a large financial services corporation in the Twin Cities. In his capacity as corporate counsel, Brian advises Insurance Marketing Organizations (IMOs), Insurance Agencies, Broker-Dealers, and Investment Firms affiliated with his corporation on regulatory compliance. Brian has served for many years as a subject matter expert (SME) and online contributor for the publisher McGraw Hill for their business law textbooks. Brian operated a solo law firm for eight years and has experience in Minnesota and federal courts. Brian has taught legal courses in a higher education setting since 2007. For eight years, Brian oversaw a legal studies program at an undergraduate college. Brian has worked with the American Bar Association (ABA) on legal education and has spoken at an ABA conference on the development of legal faculty. Brian is a 2004 graduated of Hamline University School of Law and has a bachelor’s degree in history from Western Kentucky University.
