“I joined HealthPartners’ General Counsel, Health Plan Team in August 2016. In this position, I provide risk-based legal advice to HealthPartners and its related entities regarding the Affordable Care Act and ERISA compliance, health plan design, state health insurance law, privacy, contract drafting and negotiating, transactions, state Attorney General complaints, state and federal public programs and regulatory compliance. The Health Law Institute not only equipped me to cover this broad range of subjects but also placed me as an intern at HealthPartners during my second year of law school. It was during this time that I made relationships that brought me back to HealthPartners to serve with their General Counsel.”
