How are students evaluated?
Instructors grade on a pass/fail basis. After participants have completed the required four core courses, the Mitchell Hamline School of Law will award participants a certificate in Human Resources Compliance. Participants who complete the program do not earn a degree.
Is this program eligible in my state?
Mitchell Hamline School of Law can enroll students residing in most states, and like all higher education institutions, Mitchell Hamline must adhere to individual state regulations before enrolling students outside of Minnesota in its online program. Please confirm whether your state is among the eligible states.
Will I get continued learning credits for this program
The Minnesota CLE board has pre-approved this program for 30 CLE credits: 25 standard credits, 3 Ethics credits and 2 Elimination of Bias credits.
As a recertification provider for The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), this program is approved for 24 PDCs for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
The HR Certification Institute (HRCI) has approved the program for 24 HR General recertification credit hours toward California, GPHR, PHRi, SPHRi, PHR and SPHR recertification.

What is the tuition?The tuition for the Human Resources Compliance Certificate program (four core courses) is $3980. A 10 percent discount is available for Mitchell Hamline School of Law alumni. This program does not qualify for federal financial aid. The optional stand-alone e-learning courses are $395 per course, but participants who have completed the Human Resources Compliance Certificate will receive a discounted rate of $295 per course.
