It is that time of year again when the Criminal Law Society needs to vote in a new board! All board members are graduating, so there will be no incumbents running. Any current students are allowed and encouraged to run!
The available positions are:
To nominate yourself for one or more positions, please:
1. Write a candidate statement explaining your qualifications and why you want to run for a board position (make sure to include which position(s) you are running for) that is 350 words or fewer.
2. Email your statement to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday, April 25 at 5:00 PM.
3. Vote! A survey will be sent out on Wednesday, April 26 to all CLS members. That means everyone on this email list. If you have a friend who wants to vote but is not on this list, please have him/her email email@example.com to be added before 4/26.
4. Voting ends Monday, May 1 at 11:59 PM.
Q: Do president and vice president run on the same ticket?
A: No. All positions run separately.
Q: Will my candidate statement appear on the ballot?
Q: May I run for more than one position?
A: Yes, but you will only be awarded one position. If you are elected to more than one position, you will choose which position you want to fill.
