Learn more about the life and work of one of Mitchell Hamline’s most notable alums, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court Warren Burger ’31, presented by Professor Todd Peppers. A reception will follow the CLE.
Alumni vs. Students Hockey Game

Get out your skates and get ready to go head-to-head with the players from the Mitchell Hamline Fighting Eelpouts hockey team! If you don’t play hockey, you can still participate by cheering during the game. Then, after the game, head downstairs to Pillbox Tavern for appetizers and fellowship with players, students, and fans.

CLE: Uplift and Uphold: Mental Health, Addiction Recovery, and the Law
Saturday, Oct. 11, 1-4 pm | Mitchell Hamline campus
We are partnering with Hazelden Betty Ford and Mobilize Recovery to offer a program focused on lawyer well-being, mental health, and substance use in the legal profession.
The day will feature keynote Brian Cuban; Jon Tynjala, executive director of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers; Attorney General Keith Ellison; and a powerhouse lineup of Mitchell Hamline alumni, faculty, and staff, including Grace Chanin ’18, Professor Nicole Coon, Patty Devoy ’13, Professor Leanne Fuith ’12, Lynn LeMoine ’11, Matthew Nolan ’09, Heather Stratton ’24, and Emily Weischel ’18.
This program offers interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as practical tools and skills so attendees can integrate concrete strategies into their work and feel a sense of healing through community.
