August 2021
The Pre-1L Summer Workshop is designed for a new student entering for Fall 2021 to ease your transition to law school by giving you an overview of the first-year experience and your professors’ expectations. You will also have an opportunity to meet your classmates and become familiar with the lay of the land before classes begin. We will introduce you to the key skills needed to succeed in law school such as critical reading, case briefing, legal analysis, and exam writing. While this program is not for credit, it is a valuable academic program and a great opportunity to start building key skills and a learning community. You may complete this program in-person or online.
