You&#8217;ll continue your studies from <strong>anywhere in the world<\/strong>. Whether that means more time in your hometown or extensive travel for work or in the military, we&#8217;ve seen students excel in those situations while completing their legal education in a way that fit their lives. You can do it, too.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nationaljurist.com\/prelaw\/rankings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4388\" src=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/admitted\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2024\/05\/prelaw-online-badge-2024.png\" alt=\"preLaw Leader in Online Education\" width=\"125\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Semester by semester<\/h2>\n<p>For the first four semesters, courses are essentially the same for all blended-learning students. You will come to campus for a Prep Week at the beginning of your first semester and return for a Capstone Week at the end of each semester. During semesters 2-4, you&#8217;ll have a remote, synchronous Prep Weekend and will complete your coursework asynchronously online during the other 12-13 weeks of the semester.<\/p>\n<p>Starting in semester five, you will have access to a range of courses in a variety of formats. For any courses you take in semesters 5-8 in the blended format, you will come to campus for a Capstone Week.<\/p>\n<a class=\"button button-info btn-info\" href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/academics\/blended-learning-semester-by-semester\/\" target=\"\">Semester by Semester&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/a>\n<h2>On-campus instruction<\/h2>\n<p>Students start their law school career with a Prep Week on campus. At the end of the first four semesters\u2014and for any courses students take in the blended format during later semesters\u2014they&#8217;ll return to campus for a five-day Capstone Week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/capstone\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1036\" src=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/05\/CAPSTONE-feature.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/capstone\">Follow two cohorts of blended learning students through Fall Capstone Week<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although these seven short episodes follow seven days of Capstone Week, the Capstone experience has been streamlined to better suit student needs and will last for five days starting in fall 2026.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-sm-7\">\n<h2>Sample online class<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve designed a sample class to introduce you to Canvas, our learning management system. The sample class pulls examples from several of our online and blended courses.
