“I Thought We Talked About This Already?!- Addressing Pay Equity in 2019”- EVENT CODE 270996
Policy concerning pay inequity has cycled through the legislature and public discourse for the last 45 years, and yet pay disparity is still gone unaddressed in any meaningful way. This inequity effects women in every field, and the law is no exception. This panel will discuss the history of this issue, current efforts to address it in Minnesota, and facilitate discussion about the practical effects of pay inequity on careers and advancement in law firms and in companies and whether and how these issues can be discussed and addressed in these organizations.
