DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C., an affiliate of the Wisconsin-based law firm DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C. (DeWitt), announced Janet G. Stellpflug was invited to join The Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA) as a Fellow. She will be speaking at its 2017 North American Construction Law Symposium in New York City on November 30th, 2017.
The CLSA is an invitation-only construction lawyer honorary society with membership limited to 1,200 practicing Fellows from the United States and internationally. The composition of the CLSA is aggressively diverse, with recognition of excellence across all practices relating to construction law, including all transactional and litigation aspects of construction, and more specifically contract preparation, contract negotiations, surety bonding, traditional litigation and arbitration, and any other facet of construction law applicable to commercial, residential and energy construction matters nationally and internationally.
Stellpflug has more than 30 years of experience defending contractors and product manufacturers in construction disputes. Her substantial trial and arbitration experience includes serving as first chair for more than 30 jury trials in state and federal court in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Stellpflug is the immediate past President of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She has received numerous awards to include Minnesota Super Lawyers® Top Women 2015, Minnesota Top 100 Super Lawyer ® 2009 and she is AV ® rated by Martindale Hubbell, the highest possible rating. She is affiliated with numerous associations to include the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota, Associated General Contractors of America, and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. She is a member of the MSBA Civil Trial Certification Board and chairs the MDLA products liability committee.
