{"id":1863,"date":"2018-01-11T07:42:14","date_gmt":"2018-01-11T13:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/alumni\/?p=1863"},"modified":"2018-01-11T15:51:11","modified_gmt":"2018-01-11T21:51:11","slug":"the-alumni-community-welcomes-46-new-graduates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/alumni\/2018\/01\/11\/the-alumni-community-welcomes-46-new-graduates\/","title":{"rendered":"The alumni community welcomes 46 new graduates!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The alumni community grew by 46 after Mitchell Hamline\u2019s winter commencement on Sunday, Jan. 7.\u00a0The new graduates join the ranks of more than 19,000 alumni.<\/p>\n<p>This graduation was also noteworthy because 16 of the graduates were the first to complete Mitchell Hamline\u2019s first-of-its-kind Hybrid J.D. program, in which students earned a degree by studying both online and in-person.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe graduation of the first 16 students in our Hybrid J.D. program is a historic moment for Mitchell Hamline and for legal education,\u201d said President and Dean Mark C. Gordon. \u201cThe Hybrid J.D program graduates, and all of our graduates, received the excellent practical training in the legal profession that has been a hallmark of Mitchell Hamline for so many years.
