Assistant Director and General Counsel, Minnesota State Lottery
Ben Freedland is the Assistant Director and General Counsel at the Minnesota State Lottery. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Texas School of Law. At the lottery, Ben is responsible for legal compliance, procurement, and contracting while providing executive and strategic leadership. Prior joining the lottery, Ben was an associate at a litigation boutique and a large law firm where he practiced in the areas of intellectual property and technology. Ben has previously been an adjunct professor in the Legal Writing program.
