David Dobmeyer ’16 is an attorney at Stinson, where he practices in the firm’s real estate and public finance division. David represents both public and private companies in land purchase and sale transactions as well as commercial leasing. On a pro bono basis, he has recently represented clients in the area of criminal expungement.
While a student at Mitchell Hamline, David served as an editor of the Law Review and completed an externship with the Honorable Jeffrey J. Keyes, U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, David worked as a compliance manager for a publicly traded health insurance company. He holds a master’s degree in health services research from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In his spare time, David enjoys reading American history and exploring local theater with his husband, Randy.
