Adjunct/Affiliated Professor
Dennis Patrick is a shareholder of the Edina law firm of Thomsen & Nybeck. For the past 27 years Patrick has concentrated his practice in the areas of estate planning, taxation, probate and business transactions. Patrick has spoken before various public and professional groups on topics related to taxation and estate planning. He is currently an adjunct professor of law at Mitchell Hamline Law School and has written for the William Mitchell Law Review.
Patrick received his B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota in 1976, his J.D. degree from Hamline University School of Law in 1979, and his Master of Law (LL.M.) degree in estate planning from the University of Miami, Florida, in 1980. He is a member of the Taxation, and the Probate & Trust Law sections of the Minnesota Bar Association. Patrick is married and has three children. He lives with his wife in Bloomington, Minnesota.
