Biography
Since 2016, Ms. Fehn has been using her legal skills in Minnesota government. She currently serves at the Board of Medical Practice.
Ms. Fehn joined Hamline University School of Law in 2015 as the Managing Attorney and Clinical Instructor for the Medical Legal Partnership. Prior to joining the law school faculty, Jada Fehn served as a prestigious Public Health Law Fellow with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. She served in the Office of the General Counsel for one year, working on projects including tobacco, sugary beverages, and opioid overdose.
Ms. Fehn is a 2012 graduate of Hamline University School of Law, where she was a primary editor of the Journal of Public Law and Policy, a Bakken Fellow, a Dean’s Honor Roll student, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Student Health Law Association. She divided her Spring 2012 semester between Hamline and Washington D.C. so she could work as a policy intern at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Following law school, Ms. Fehn served as a law clerk in the Fourth Judicial District mental health division.
Ms. Fehn worked in health care for almost 10 years before entering the law. After earning a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, she provided direct care to patients in pharmacy and mental health settings.
