Jeffrey R. Peterson is an adjunct tax law professor teaching federal income tax, which is an overview of the fundamentals of federal income taxation, including gross income, exclusions, basis, divorce, assignment of income, deductions, passive loss and interest expense limitation rules, capital gains/losses and deferral.
Professor Peterson is also the President of Commercial Partners Exchange Company [CPEC1031]. His company is a facilitator of standard deferred 1031 exchanges, build-to-suit construction improvement exchanges, reverse exchanges and aircraft personal property exchanges. Mr. Peterson received his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association Tax Section.
