Melissa S. Weiner is a civil litigator whose work is squarely focused on combating consumer deception, particularly in the consumer products arena. Ms. Weiner has taken a leadership role in numerous large class actions and multi-district litigations in cases across the country. These include cases challenging tobacco marketing, data breaches, copyright infringement, defective construction products and misleading food and product labels.
Ms. Weiner serves on the Board for Public Justice in the role of chair of the development committee. she is a former co-chair of the mass tort and class action practice group for the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and serves on the Minnesota Bar Association Food and Drug Law Council.
Ms. Weiner has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2012 by Minnesota Law and Politics.
