Staff members are licensed clinicians who have a variety of experience and specializations.
Kathy Connolly has a Masters in Social Work and is a licensed, independent clinical social worker. She has been coordinator of Mitchell Hamline Counseling Services for over 15 years. She also is in private practice in Minneapolis. Special areas of focus are healthy lifestyles, time management, stress management and maintaining healthy relationships while in law school. She has extensive clinical experience in criminal justice, employee assistance, and mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Jessica Sawyer focuses on the areas of generalized anxiety, depression, eating disorders, sport/performance anxiety, identity/purpose/meaning, addiction, transitions, perinatal mood/new baby, couples/partner communication, family dynamics, blended families, and bullying/self-esteem.
Jon Vaughan-Fier’s special interest areas include nonviolent communication, somatic psychology, and mindfulness.
