There are a limited number of parking spaces available on campus for student parking. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/span><\/p>\n There are various restrictions on parking on the streets near the law school. These restrictions are designed to ensure that parking is available for the residents of the neighborhood. It is important that all Mitchell Hamline students respect these restrictions because it is a way for the law school to be courteous and respectful of the people with whom we share the neighborhood.<\/p>\n From time to time the City of Saint Paul may post signs restricting parking on neighborhood streets. During the winter, parking is restricted on plow routes. Please be aware of these restrictions and respect them.<\/p>\n MHSL provides parking on its property (\u201cSummit Lot\u201d and \u201cPortland Lot\u201d), and has an agreement to use spaces located across Victoria Avenue in the Summit Church lot (\u201cSC Lot\u201d), collectively, the \u201cMHSL Parking Lots.\u201d<\/p>\n A designated parking area for motorcycle parking is located in the northwest corner of the Summit Lot.<\/p>\n Parking in the Portland Lot is restricted to faculty and staff during the day, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., students are permitted to park in the Portland Lot.<\/p>\n Unless a student is going out of town for a school related activity, no overnight parking is allowed in the law school parking lots. Overnight parking must be approved by the Director of Security.<\/p>\n Limited reserved parking is identified in the Summit and Portland Lots and may include temporarily reserved spaces for board members, judges and special event speakers. Accessible parking spaces are designated in each lot. Anyone parking in a reserved space improperly may be subject to ticketing and\/or towing.<\/p>\n Metro Transit bus passes for students are available each semester to purchase in the Finance office room 276 of the LEC building.
