Provide your home Financial Aid Office with our contact information. When contacted, we will confirm your registration and provide total budget costs to assist your home school&#8217;s financial aid processing.<\/p>\n<p>Non-JD students: Use our private loan comparison tool, <a href=\"https:\/\/choice.fastproducts.org\/FastChoice\/home\/239100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FastChoice<\/a> to find your loan and contact the Financial Aid Office for assistance.<\/p>\n<h2>J-Term &#8217;25 On-Campus Classes<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 18.609375px\">J-Term registration and a valid 2024-25 FAFSA will trigger a financial aid offer.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Financial aid offer will equal J-term tuition cost only<\/li>\n<li>Applicable scholarships will apply<\/li>\n<li>J-term aid is processed and disbursed with spring term aid<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1em;line-height: 1.714285714\">When notified, accept offered financial aid through the Mitchell Hamline Financial Aid Portal.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>J-Term &#8217;25 Mitchell Hamline study away program<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li>Your program deposit and a 2024-25 FAFSA will trigger a financial aid offer.<\/li>\n<li>Financial aid offer will equal the total program cost of attendance including the application fee, tuition, course and housing fees, airfare and personal expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Scholarships are not applicable to study abroad costs.<\/li>\n<li>When notified, accept offered financial aid through the Mitchell Hamline F<span style=\"font-size: 1em;line-height: 1.714285714\">inancial Aid Portal.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>J-Term &#8217;25 study away program at another school<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li>2024-25 FAFSA on-file<\/li>\n<li>Review <a href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/catalog\/1-06-graduation-requirements-j-d-program\/#credits-other-law-schools\">Academic Rule 1.06, Section F<\/a>, Credits Earned at Other Law Schools in the Law School Catalog<\/li>\n<li>Submit a Registrar\u2019s Transfer of Credit Request Form for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Provide the\u00a0Financial Aid\u00a0Office with your planned program details (email with attachment is ok!)<\/li>\n<li>Mitchell Hamline\u00a0will contact the host school to confirm your registration and verify the established budget for your program.<\/li>\n<li>Scholarships are not applicable to study abroad costs.<\/li>\n<li>When notified, accept offered financial aid through the Mitchell Hamline F<span style=\"font-size: 1em;line-height: 1.714285714\">inancial Aid Portal.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Funds will be disbursed to you no sooner than 10 days before the start of class.
