The discussion focused on current food network efforts across the state, and opportunities to connect with other local communities working to improve food access through policy, systems, and environmental change efforts. The meeting was sponsored by Live Healthy, U of M Extension, AgCentric, Health4Life, Central Lakes College, SHIP, and the Initiative Foundation, and was held in Staples, Minn.<\/p>\n<h3>Meaney, Mark<\/h3>\n<h4>PRESENTATION<\/h4>\n<p>12\/15\/16 &#8220;Options\u00a0for Regulating Tobacco Products in Florida\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Public\u00a0Health Law Center senior attorney Mark Meaney gave a tobacco control presentation on a webinar sponsored by CounterTools for state and local public health officials in Florida.<\/p>\n<h3>Pope, Thaddeus<\/h3>\n<h4>PUBLICATION<\/h4>\n<p>12\/1\/16 National\u00a0Standards for the Certification of Patient Decision Aids<\/p>\n<p>Professor\u00a0 Thaddeus Pope served as one of 21 experts convened by The National Quality Forum (NQF) to evaluate the current state of patient decision aids.
