The program was sponsored by The Community, a Milwaukee organization whose mission is to foster the full potential of people with criminal records.<\/p>\n<p><strong>INVITATION: 2\/15\/2022 Scientific Committee for the ASOS Congress<\/strong><br \/>\nProfessor Eric Janus was invited to be on the Scientific Committee for the ASOS Congress, a conference organized by Bahcesehir University in Istanbul and Eski\u015fehir Osmangazi University.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Larson, David<\/h3>\n<p><strong>MEDIA: 2\/3\/2022 ThinkTech Hawaii<\/strong><br \/>\nProfessor David Allen Larson was a guest on the February 3, 2022 ThinkTech Hawaii videocast, \u201cThe Pandemic of Polarization.\u201d Professor Larson was joined in the discussion by William &amp; Mary Visiting Professor Ben Davis, University of Dayton Professor of Law Emeritus Vernellia Randall, and Tina Patterson of the Rhode Island American Indian Heritage Commission.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/7JH2PYdBFBc\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/7JH2PYdBFBc<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>PRESENTATION: 2\/10\/2022 \u201cVaccine Mandates and Employment Law&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\nProfessor David Allen Larson recorded \u201cVaccine Mandates and Employment Law,&#8221; a 50-minute video presentation for Findlaw. Growing Uncertainty and Reasons for Amending the Uniform Determination of Death Act&#8221; as part of the Mitchell Hamline Fellows Series on February 1, 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRESENTATION: 2\/11\/2022 &#8220;Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking: A Lesser Known, Widely Available Palliative Option of Last Resort&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\nProfessor Thaddeus Pope presented &#8220;Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking: A Lesser Known, Widely Available Palliative Option of Last Resort&#8221; at the Annual Assembly of Hospice &amp; Palliative Care held in Nashville, Tennessee on February 11, 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MEDIA: 2\/15\/2022 Guidance for Healthcare Ethics Committees<\/strong><br \/>\nProfessor Thaddeus Pope wrote the chapter, &#8220;Medical Futility&#8221; for the book, Guidance for Healthcare Ethics Committees, 2nd edition.
