Richard Williams, Sr. MD 1931 Endowed Lecture at Tulane University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRESENTATION: 5\/15\/2024 &#8220;Futile, Non-Beneficial, and Potentially Inappropriate Treatment: Pivotal Strategies for Avoiding and Resolving Conflict&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\nProfessor Thaddeus Pope presented &#8220;Futile, Non-Beneficial, and Potentially Inappropriate Treatment: Pivotal Strategies for Avoiding and Resolving Conflict&#8221; on May 15, 2024 to the Bioethics Grand Rounds at Washington State University Medicine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PUBLICATION: 5\/15\/2024 Perspectives in Biology and Medicine<\/strong><br \/>\nProfessor Thaddeus Pope&#8217;s article, &#8220;Limits on Parental Discretion in Medical Decision Making: Pediatric Intervention Principles Converge on Requirements for State Intervention&#8221; was published in volume 67(2) of Perspectives in Biology and Medicine. Mark C. Navin, Jason Adam Wasserman, and Douglas S.
