Based on the presenters\u2019 own<\/p>\n<p>experience and drawing from their 2023 book, The Practitioner\u2019s Guide to the PCT, published by the<\/p>\n<p>ABA-IPL, the webinar will take participants through the various stages of the PCT process, with<\/p>\n<p>examples, strategies, tips on avoiding pitfalls, and the questions that need to be addressed to move<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">from one stage to the next.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Topics will include: when and why to use the PCT; filing challenges and choices; the international search<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">process and what to do about it; what to do when circumstances change or things go wrong; and how to<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">optimize moving from the international to the national stage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em><strong>Presenters:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Jay Erstling is former Director of the Office of the PCT at WIPO in Geneva, Switzerland, and a Professor<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Emeritus at Mitchell Hamline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Megan M.
