So, you wanna learn how to print? Here is what you need to know:
There are 4 networked printer/copiers located throughout the first floor of the library. 2 of the machines are in the copy room to the right of the Circulation Desk and 2 are near the back windows.
There are also printers located elsewhere in the building, including in Hachey Commons and outside of Room 227.
Students can print from the desktops in library or from their laptops or mobile devices. To print a document, attach it to an email sent from your Mitchell Hamline email to email@example.com.
Your Student ID unlocks the printer and once unlocked you can copy, print, or scan.
Prints and copies cost .04 cents per page (front and back = .08 cents).
To get set up you can add money to your account in a few ways: with cash or check at the Circulation Desk, or by credit card or PayPal at https://printing.mitchellhamline.edu/ig. If funding by credit card or PayPal, there is a minimum deposit of $10.00 and a maximum of $20.00.
Students can check their copy/print balance at https://printing.mitchellhamline.edu/ig. Printing balances are also available on the printer/copier’s interface screen when you log into your print queue.
A dedicated Lexis printer is located in the Copy Room. Students may print from Lexis at no cost!
If you have any questions about printing, just ask! You can email firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the Circulation Desk in person.
