Study aids are used to help you enhance your understanding of concepts taught in the classroom. While your notes and professor\u2019s explanations should always be your primary source of information, study aids can help supplement your understanding and help you test your knowledge. Where can you find them? The Library, of course!<\/p>\n
This week we are highlighting the Concise Hornbook<\/strong>\u00a0series.<\/p>\n What is the “Concise Hornbook” series? The Concise Hornbook series are study aids that are simplified versions of Hornbooks featuring concise analyses of basic areas of law by prominent legal scholars.<\/p>\n Concise Hornbook titles generally address material covered in typical law school courses. While every text takes a slightly different approach, many break down the subject and discuss specific problems and illustrations.<\/p>\n The Library has Concise Hornbook titles available in print!<\/strong><\/p>\n The newest print editions are available in the Library\u2019s Reserve Collection. To check one of these out, just ask at the Circulation Desk. All reserve copies are available for 2-hour check outs. Older editions, located in the Lower Level stacks, can be checked out for longer.
