You can listen to the story on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mprnews.org\/story\/2016\/08\/04\/mitchell-hamline-trains-scientists-on-courts-law\">MPR News website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The story, by MPR environmental reporter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpr.org\/about\/people\/edunbar@mpr.org\">Elizabeth Dunbar<\/a>, explored the academy&#8217;s efforts to help climate scientists\u00a0better explain their research findings to lawmakers, judges, and juries.<\/p>\n<p>During the weeklong training, Mitchell Hamline faculty, as well as several judges and attorneys, guide participants through mock exercises that simulate congressional hearings and jury trials. Instructors then give the scientists feedback on how\u00a0best to present their findings\u00a0in language everyone can understand.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-2
