Mitchell Hamline will hold a daylong CLE and continuing education credit conference on the removal process within Minnesota\u2019s child protection system on Friday, Oct. 13.<\/p>\n

The program, held in the school’s auditorium, will focus on current social science research on the experience of children during the removal process. Panelists and expert speakers from around the country will discuss best practices for child-centered removal. The day will conclude with an interactive discussion on how Minnesota could improve its removal process.<\/p>\n

This event is recommended for judges, attorneys, child protection workers, children\u2019s attorneys, and guardians ad litem. The cost is $75, with a $50 rate for public interest attorneys and staff. The discount code is “CPP”.<\/p>\n

The symposium qualifies for 5.5 CLE credits and\u00a05.5 CE credits for social workers.<\/p>\n
