Registration is open for classes that begin on April 4. For registration and program information, <a href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/law-leadership-healthcare-administration\/\">visit the Mitchell Hamline LLHA website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 13-week online program is designed for:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li>Attorneys who want to begin, or boost, their healthcare careers<\/li>\n<li>Hospital and healthcare facility administrators<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare business development\/practice managers<\/li>\n<li>Nursing home, assisted living, long-term care, and outpatient facility administrators and program directors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through the program, students will explore how healthcare organizations are structured, financed, and managed. They\u2019ll also analyze federal and state laws governing the industry\u2019s regulation and learn best practices for detecting and preventing fraud and abuse. The program will explore new trends in healthcare innovation as well, including technology, medical treatment, and business solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The program\u2019s courses will be taught by national experts currently working in healthcare, government relations, and privacy law.<\/p>\n<p>Mitchell Hamline adjunct professor Charlotte Tschider, who owns the privacy and security consulting firm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cybersimplesecurity.com\/\">Cybersimple Security<\/a>, will teach a course on federal privacy laws in the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis certificate program will provide healthcare leaders of all levels with clear, applicable, real-world strategies for managing health organization risks,\u201d Tschider said.<\/p>\n<p>The certificate is offered through Mitchell Hamline\u2019s online learning management system, a flexible, interactive portal that offers online discussions, hands-on exercises, and collaborative activities that can be completed when it fits into working professionals\u2019 schedules.<\/p>\n<p>The Law and Leadership in Healthcare Administration certificate joins four other Professional Legal Education programs at Mitchell Hamline.
