Students in the school\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/academics\/juris-doctor-program\/full-time\/\">full-time<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/academics\/juris-doctor-program\/part-time\/\">part-time day, and part-time evening programs<\/a> started classes on Monday, Aug. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Because of the number of flexible enrollment options offered at Mitchell Hamline, start times for other students were staggered throughout August:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li>Students in the <a href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/academics\/juris-doctor-program\/hybrid-j-d-program\/\">Hybrid J.D. program<\/a> began classes Aug. 6. The newest cohort of students spent the week taking part in intensive courses on campus.<\/li>\n<li>Students in the traditional <a href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/academics\/juris-doctor-program\/weekend\/\">weekend program<\/a> started classes on Aug. 11. Those in the blended weekend program got underway Aug. 18.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/academics\/juris-doctor-program\/the-mitchell-hamline-executive-jd\/\">Executive J.D.<\/a> students started classes on Aug. 19. They\u2019ll cap off a week of on-campus classes with the Leadership Workshop, Aug. 24-26. Students in the blended weekend program attend the workshop as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While enrollment figures aren\u2019t finalized until early October, here\u2019s what we know about this fall\u2019s incoming class:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li>Over 100 of the nearly 400 incoming 1Ls are students of color.<\/li>\n<li>Applications were up 13 percent over last year.<\/li>\n<li>Based on traditional LSAT measures, the quality of this year\u2019s applications was up compared to last year.
