For the first time ever, Mitchell Hamline&#8217;s total enrollment now includes students from every state in the nation.<\/p>\n<p>Students in the school\u2019s full-time,\u00a0part-time day, and part-time evening programs started classes on Monday, Aug. 19. Because of the flexible enrollment options offered at Mitchell Hamline, start times for students in the school&#8217;s blended programs were staggered throughout August.<\/p>\n<p>While enrollment figures aren\u2019t finalized until early October, here\u2019s what we know now about this fall\u2019s incoming class:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li>They range in age from 20 to 72<\/li>\n<li>56 percent are women<\/li>\n<li>They hail from 39 states and include Indigenous peoples from six different Native American tribes and Canada<\/li>\n<li>International students among the 1Ls come from Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, India, Japan, Mexico, Pakistan, Russia, United Kingdom, and Uruguay<\/li>\n<li>They&#8217;re alumni of 180 different undergraduate institutions<\/li>\n<li>Over 70 have graduate degrees, including 16 MBAs, eight PhDs, and two MDs<\/li>\n<li>30 have served or are currently serving in the military<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This fall, Mitchell Hamline is welcoming an incoming class of 375 full- and part-time 1Ls across all of the school\u2019s J.D. programs, putting the school\u2019s total enrollment at 1,194 students.
