regarding our suggestions about books. First, one of the things we want to encourage is for you to really enjoy the rest of the summer before school starts, so suggest that you don’t, and make it somewhat impossible for you to, work on class stuff too far in advance. This is on purpose as it will do you no good to try to work ahead on your reading. Law school is the type of thing you want to make sure you keep up with but don’t want to get too far ahead because you just never know when the conversation in class will take you off topic and then your reading assignments will change. Second, some faculty teach from traditional textbooks and others use things like Chart-a-course or self-created reading packets. If you are buying a textbook, be sure you are buying the exact edition that the syllabus or bookstore list indicates. In legal books an old edition is pretty much useless to you- pages won’t be numbered the same, won’t have the same cases, etc. You can check the bookstorefor book assignments by section and let me know if you have questions.

Locker application

2016-2017 Week 5

It’s week 5!

Student ID Card: You will need to come to campus and get your picture taken for your student ID card. This card gets you in the locked doors (only the main entrance on Summit Ave is accessible without a keycard) and allows you to check out books and study rooms in the library.
