Mitchell Hamline, like all higher education institutions, must follow individual state regulations before enrolling students outside of Minnesota in its online programs. Currently, Mitchell Hamline may enroll students living in the states below.
District of Columbia
Pursuant to the United States Department of Education’s Program Integrity Rule, Mitchell Hamline School of Law is required to provide all prospective and current students with contact information for the state agency or agencies that handle complaints against post-secondary education institutions offering distance learning education within that state. Students residing in other states while enrolled in a course offered by Mitchell Hamline School of Law are encouraged to utilize the college’s internal complaint or review policies and procedures. However if the complaint is not resolved through these processes, a student may use the following list to identify the office(s) in the state in which the student resides to which the complaint against Mitchell Hamline School of Law may be filed. This list is subject to change. If a student is not able to locate the appropriate agency, contact the Dean of Student Affairs and Student Life for help.
