Cal. 2019)<\/h2>\n<p><strong><strong>Nature of Case: <\/strong><\/strong> Plaintiffs were individuals who were required to register as sex offenders in California who brought a civil suit challenging the application of a San Diego city ordinance imposing residential banishment zones. Plaintiffs alleged that the ordinance violated principles of preemption, substantive Due Process, Equal Protection, and Void for Vagueness.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Holding:\u00a0<\/strong> Defendants sought to dismiss Plaintiffs&#8217; complaint.
