The first event is We Are All Criminals<\/a>\u00a0on Sept. 20th 1:00 – 4:30 pm featuring Emily Baxter, Richard McLemore, and Tonja Honsey.\u00a0 Come hear the stories of those who committed crimes, those who got away with them, and those who have been directly impacted by the criminal justice system.

The second event is Wrongful Convictions: Race, Culture, & Poverty<\/a>\u00a0on Oct. 4th from 1:00 – 4:30 pm featuring John Choi, Julie Jonas, Kathleen Moccio, and\u00a0Koua Fong Lee.\u00a0 Lee\u00a0was wrongfully convicted of killing three people in 2006 in the Twin Cities. This event will examine the role of race, culture, and poverty in contributing to wrongful convictions.

In November, they are excited to present Storytelling Through the Arts: Poverty, Trauma, & Incarceration<\/a>\u00a0on Nov. 8th from 5:30-8:00 pm featuring Naomi Gaines- Young, Nicole Fry, Shelly Schaefer, and Colleen Bell. Discover how the arts can help the public understand and connect with the personal narratives of\u00a0 incarcerated individuals through dance, theater, visual art, and creative writing.
