This full-day conference will discuss the barriers of reentry formerly incarcerated individuals experienced & explore possible solutions.<\/p>\n

Our keynote speaker, Reginald Dwayne Betts, transformed himself from a sixteen-year old kid sentenced to nine-years in prison to a critically acclaimed writer and graduate of\u00a0Yale Law School. He has written three acclaimed collections of poetry, the recently published Felon, Bastards of the Reagan Era\u00a0and\u00a0Shahid Reads His Own Palm.<\/em><\/p>\n
