{"id":39888,"date":"2020-03-27T12:20:32","date_gmt":"2020-03-27T17:20:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/students\/?p=39888"},"modified":"2020-03-27T12:20:32","modified_gmt":"2020-03-27T17:20:32","slug":"free-miami-law-mindfulness-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/students\/2020\/03\/27\/free-miami-law-mindfulness-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Free Miami Law Mindfulness Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to share with you that Miami Law will be hosting a free 4-part series of mindfulness sessions for all members of the legal community, beginning today (apologies for the short notice!).\u00a0 The 30-minute webinars take place weekly on Fridays at 12:30 and will introduce mindfulness and explore four important practices and its for daily practice helpful for reducing stress and boosting immunity, finding balance and focus, and cultivating self-compassion, gratitude, and a sense of interconnectedness with one another.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.miami.edu\/faculty\/anthony-e-varona\">Dean Anthony Varona<\/a>, who has been sharing mindfulness and compassion practices with students and colleagues for many years, will host the sessions and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottrogers.com\/\">Professor Scott Rogers<\/a> will guide the practices.
