Students who have completed their 1L year (with at least 24 credits completed) can participate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">The Criminal Justice Defense Externship gives students the opportunity to gain valuable courtroom experience\u00a0by representing real clients in their criminal cases\u00a0while\u00a0working\u00a0at a Public Defender\u2019s office.
