Prior to her current position she already had a long history of supporting immigrant and women owned businesses in the Twin Cities through her work with WomenVenture and the Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC). M\u00f3nica became a U.S. citizen in 2018, after living in Minnesota for many years. She places great value on community and social justice issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daisy Kabaka<br \/>\n<\/strong>Daisy graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance with a policy analysis focus; she also minored in Africa-American and African studies. Daisy is involved with the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC), a local grassroots organization. The words of Maya Angelou motivate and focus Daisy in advocating for human rights. They read, \u201cI come as one, but stand as 10,000.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Artur Stypulkowska<br \/>\n<\/strong>Artur was born in Poland in 1991. He has lived, studied, and worked in Portugal, The United Kingdom, and Germany. While in Germany, Artur met his future wife, a meeting that has brought him to work and live in the United States. He speaks Polish, German, and English and holds a master\u2019s degree in Economics.
