Designed to offer diverse, first-year law students\u00a0the opportunity to spend a summer working side-by-side with attorneys from LCLD Member organizations, we anticipate more than\u00a0<strong>130\u00a0law\u00a0firms and corporations <\/strong>will be hosting summer internships across the country.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to a meaningful summer internship, 2021\u00a01L Scholars also have the opportunity to benefit from:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li><strong>Attending the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/leadershipcouncilonlegaldiversity.cmail19.com\/t\/t-l-xjuuykt-stlhrtdc-j\/\">2021\u00a01L LCLD Scholars Virtual Summit<\/a>May 18-20, 2021<\/strong>, which helps students build\u00a0leadership and networking skills.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Virtual Mock interviews <\/strong>with attorneys from selected\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leadershipcouncilonlegaldiversity.cmail19.com\/t\/t-l-xjuuykt-stlhrtdc-t\/\">LCLD Member law firms<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Career-development resources and long-term connections\u00a0<\/strong>with other 1L Scholars\u00a0via the exclusive 1L LCLD Scholars\u00a0LinkedIn group. 1L Scholars will be invited to join the LinkedIn group in spring 2021.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social Hours <\/strong>during the summer for 1L Scholars to continue to build their network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t already done so, please pass along this opportunity to 1L students at your school.
