The Rosalie Wahl Moot Court is an intra-school moot court competition designed to test participants\u2019 writing and oral argument skills.\u00a0 In the winter, participants receive written materials consisting of a record, district court order, and court of appeals opinion addressing issues in civil or criminal law.\u00a0 Working in teams of two, participants prepare a brief to the United States Supreme Court and then compete in oral argument rounds in the spring.\u00a0 Presently, it is planned that the competition will be part remote and part in-person.<\/p>\n
Students receive two credits for Rosalie Wahl Moot Court.\u00a0 There are two brief writing classes prior to its due date and one oral argument class prior to the competition.\u00a0 All classes are available remotely and hybrid students are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n
