The conference is open to individuals who have accepted a 2022-2023 federal clerkship (district court or court of appeals) or a 2022-2023 state appellate court clerkship. The 2022 conference is currently planned to take place in person on our campus.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bi6gxh9e\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"25ijn\" data-offset-key=\"3bddp-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"3bddp-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"3bddp-0-0\">CSL will provide funding towards travel and accommodations. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bi6gxh9e\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"25ijn\" data-offset-key=\"6doig-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"6doig-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"6doig-0-0\">Over the course of the conference, conferees will receive opinion writing instruction from some of our nation&#8217;s most distinguished members of the judiciary. They will also be guided through writing an appellate court opinion and will receive individual review and commentary on their work by our faculty, all judges or former judicial clerks themselves. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance until the limit of conferees is reached.
