Primary <\/span>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n
-Contract drafting for a wide variety of music and entertainment industry agreements.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Legal research pertaining to copyrights, trademarks, music licensing and royalties, and the formation or maintenance of business entities.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and firm processes.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Perform other related services in connection with clients\u2019 activities in the entertainment industry as assigned.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Qualifications:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Law student entering third year of law school pursuing a Juris Doctorate (JD) at an ABA accredited institution.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Strong passion for music required. Being a musician is preferred.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Extremely detail-oriented.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Strong drafting, negotiating, analytical, and organization skills.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Excellent independent judgment, as well as critical and strategic thinking.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Team player with ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Self-starter who should be extremely comfortable working independently.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Ability to consistently work under pressure in a professional manner.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Responsiveness and ability to clearly and effectively communicate.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-Humility, and always being ready to adapt.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
