Students who have completed their 1L year (with at least 24 credits completed) can participate, including remote and Hybrid students.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 9.0pt;background: white\"><span class=\"contentpasted1\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;color: black\">The Criminal Justice Defense Externship gives students the opportunity to gain valuable courtroom experience\u00a0by representing real clients in their criminal cases\u00a0while\u00a0working\u00a0at a Public Defender\u2019s office.
