Applications are due by\u00a0<b>Sunday, April 2 at 11:59 pm ET.<\/b>\u00a0Meet the\u00a0<u><a href=\"https:\/\/maestro.abanet.org\/trk\/click?ref=z11aidwdq5_1-tuienb-0-49971x31e76f2x016873&amp;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-safelink=\"true\" data-linkindex=\"12\"><strong>current class of Fellows<\/strong><\/a><\/u>\u00a0and learn more about\u00a0<u><a href=\"https:\/\/maestro.abanet.org\/trk\/click?ref=z11aidwdq5_1-tuienb-0-49971x31e225bx016873&amp;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-safelink=\"true\" data-linkindex=\"13\"><strong>Loretta Collins Argrett<\/strong><\/a><\/u>.<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>The Loretta Collins Argrett Fellowship is a three-year program open to any individual with a diverse background and\/or a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tax bar. The Tax Section aspires to award up to five (5) three-year Fellowships each fiscal year. The Fellowship provides the following benefits:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Waiver of annual membership dues for the American Bar Association and the Tax Section.<\/li>\n<li>Waiver of all registration fees (including tickets for receptions and lunches) for the Tax Section&#8217;s Fall, Midyear, and May meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Reimbursement of all travel and accommodation expenses associated with attending the Tax Section&#8217;s meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Waiver or reimbursement of expenses associated with special gatherings at each Tax Section meeting<\/li>\n<li>A mentoring program that includes two (2) assigned mentors for each fellow who will serve as guides for Tax Section activities, networking, and professional and career advice and opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly virtual meetings with Tax Section leaders and special guests with discussions and introduction to a wide range of topics.<\/li>\n<li>Periodic special events, luncheons, and gatherings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re pleased to announce the application period for the 2023-2026\u00a0Loretta Collins Argrett Fellowship\u00a0is now open.
