If you\u2019d like to take advantage of this opportunity, please complete this short contact form by <strong>Friday, February 3rd<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/93yFpMuxeu76KaVv7\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/93yFpMuxeu76KaVv7<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lawyers of Color is a 501(c)(3) devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession. We celebrate attorneys of color and conduct research and studies regarding the intersection of the legal profession and social justice. We\u2019ve been mentioned in The New York Times, the National Law Journal, and Above The Law, among other media outlets. We publish about a dozen publications annually, including the Power List, the Hot List, and the Black Guide to Law Schools and Firms. You\u2019ll also be asked to forward Lawyers of Color\u2019s newsletter to your law school peers.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Collect Data<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nLawyers of Color is preparing to publish a comprehensive directory of all minority federal and state judges and their clerks. Ambassadors will assist with the collection of this information.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Interact with Lawyers of Color Honorees<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nEach year, Lawyers of Color publishes several issues honoring various groups of attorneys (partners, general counsel, lobbyists, etc.). Ambassadors will call and congratulate honorees and may attend the accompanying receptions. Fellows will also use a template to create blog and social media posts for 2 or 3 honorees.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Serve as Your Law School\u2019s Lawyers of Color Liaison<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nFrom time to time, events impacting black students arise on campus that ambassadors may wish to amplify with the help of Lawyers of Color.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Special Projects (participation is optional)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nOccasionally, Lawyers of Color will have special research and\/or reporting projects.
