We are pleased to invite law students from Mitchell Hamline School of Law to participate in this valuable hybrid meeting with a lot to offer students. Please feel free to share the description below with your student networks.<\/p>\n<p>The Business Law <a href=\"https:\/\/web.cvent.com\/event\/8545205a-02d1-420b-9453-b0037bb30107\/summary\">Section Hybrid Spring Meeting<\/a> will be held April 27-29, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Seattle and online, and the Section is pleased to invite law students to join. <strong>Meeting <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/web.cvent.com\/event\/8545205a-02d1-420b-9453-b0037bb30107\/summary\"><strong>registration<\/strong><\/a><strong> is complimentary for law students! <\/strong>All you need to do is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanbar.org\/groups\/business_law\/\">join the Business Law Section<\/a> as a student, which is also free. Our hybrid format uses the latest technology to put members in the room where meetings are happening, allowing the flexibility to attend and participate in a meeting or program anywhere which is great for students far away or with schedule conflicts. Virtual attendees won\u2019t just watch; they will be able to see who\u2019s speaking and speak to the room as if they are there. All of this for free from the comfort of your home!<\/p>\n<p>For students able to join us in person, we invite you to participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanbar.org\/groups\/business_law\/initiatives_awards\/scholar\/\">Law Student Scholar Program<\/a>. This program is designed to help law students navigate Section Meetings and connect with practicing business lawyers to network and learn more about a career in business law. Participants in the Law Student Scholar Program receive:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li><strong>Mentorship.<\/strong> Each Scholar will be paired with a Section mentor who can help you navigate the Meeting and share advice for a successful career in business law.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professional recognition.<\/strong> After completing the program requirements, each scholar will receive a certificate recognizing their participation in the program.\u00a0Scholars are also encouraged to list involvement in this program on their resume.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enhanced law school experience.<\/strong> Scholars will receive continued opportunities for involvement in the ABA Business Law Section to help you stand out from your peers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The program has been designed with law students\u2019 busy schedules in mind. Required events can be completed in 1-3 days and students are invited to attend as many days of the meeting as they\u2019d like!
