This publication is entirely student managed and is available on Westlaw, Lexis, and the MHLR website. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.mitchellhamline.edu\/mhlr\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Check out Volume 49&#8217;s current issue here.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>HOW DO I JOIN?\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students can apply for Law Review by participating in and completing the write-on process. Write-on takes place after finals, and over the course of three weeks: from May 22 \u2013 June 11, 2023. Applicants will complete a Bluebook quiz and write a case note (an analysis of a recent Minnesota Supreme Court decision). All grading will be anonymous. Successful applicants will be notified in early July, prior to Mitchell Hamline&#8217;s Summer Recruitment Program (OCI) application deadline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A LAW REVIEW ASSOCIATE?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Associates conduct authority checks, check citations, and make grammatical edits on assigned articles. Additionally, all Associates write a long paper during their time on law review, which satisfies the long paper requirement for graduation. MHLR publishes several student long papers in every volume.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For their services, Associates earn 3 pass\/fail academic credits for the school year. These credits can be applied in Fall, J-term, or Spring semesters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>2023 WRITE-ON TIMELINE<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Part I.
