Students who have completed their 1L year (with at least 24 credits completed) can participate, including remote and Hybrid students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">The Criminal Justice Defense Externship gives students the opportunity to gain valuable courtroom experience by representing real clients in their criminal cases while working at a Public Defender\u2019s office.
