At 12:30 the section will lead a CLE with a panel including the Chief Legal Officer &amp; General Counsel for the Big Ten Conference and the Director of Athletic Compliance at the University of Minnesota. Later in the day the section will host a social hour at Brit&#8217;s in downtown Minneapolis to watch the Big 10 Basketball Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Register to attend one OR both events (separate registrations) below:<\/p>\n<p>CLE: Beyond Name, Image, and Likeness: B1G Changes and Challenges in College Sports<\/p>\n<p>March 14, 2024<\/p>\n<p>12:30 PM to 1:30 PM<\/p>\n<p>Hybrid Event<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota State Bar Association<\/p>\n<p>600 Nicollet Mall #380, Minneapolis<\/p>\n<p>During the heart of college basketball\u2019s post-season, join the Minnesota State Bar Association\u2019s Sports, Art, and Entertainment Section for a panel discussion with national thought leaders in college athletics as they discuss the changing landscape of college sports, including the transfer portal, NIL, and other current issues facing Power Five athletics conferences, athletic departments, and student athletes.
