Please email <\/strong><strong>SIPLA@mitchellhamline.edu<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Please read the following information:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0SIPLA\u00a0board is responsible for developing and hosting various events\u00a0for the general\u00a0SIPLA\u00a0members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:\u00a0<\/strong>There are many benefits to serving on the\u00a0SIPLA\u00a0board.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li>Provides opportunities to demonstrate leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Enables you to coordinate events that interest you<\/li>\n<li>Exposes you to unique networking opportunities, both within MHSL and among the legal community<\/li>\n<li>Boosts your resume<\/li>\n<li>Helps fulfill one of the requirements for the Patent Law Certificate offered by MHSL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Positions:\u00a0<\/strong>President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Career Coordinator, Technology Coordinator<br \/>\n<strong>Position Descriptions:<\/strong>\u00a0Please find a description of each position\u00a0here. While each position has a defined role, we encourage a flexible and team oriented board, so some duties may extend beyond the specified descriptions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elections:\u00a0<\/strong>Board nominations are entered by the candidates themselves. Nominees are confirmed by whoever gets a plurality of votes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apply: Please email\u00a0<\/strong><strong>SIPLA@mitchellhamline.edu<\/strong><strong>\u00a0by March 15 at 11:59 pm\u00a0<\/strong>with a one-paragraph introduction about why you are running for a particular position and why you are a good candidate for that position and the board generally. Please list all of the positions you are interested for, in order of preference.
